• Tuesday Aug 14^th lunch and supper, Benny Goodman Tribute Band

The Swingmasters will be playing a free, open to the public concert on Friday, July 20th from 6-9pm at the RiverFront Square in Trenton as part of the Trenton Big Band Festival.

Cogeco is airing their Classic Car Series between May 28 and June 25 and the Wednesday, July 4th (9 pm) show will feature Chris and Miss daisy (and a few minutes of me as well) .

We should be able to put up a link to it following the show for those that miss it.

Kingston Classics Trio (Chris, Bill and Katie) are playing
at the KSA House tour this Saturday 11:40am – 12:30pm at
9 King Pitt Rd off Hwy 2 east
For this you do have to buy a ‘passport’ – details on the KSA site.

Katie (bassoon 2) and Chris (clarinet 1) are also playing
the Kingston Symphony’s Beat Beethoven Run on June 3, 2018
starting at 10:30 a.m. in Confederation Park – no admission necessary but hope for sun!

The coming Victoria day weekend will mark a couple of special events and you are invited!

Friday, May 18 will be the final concert in our Happy Hour Sound Bytes 2017-2018 Season. In this concert we appeal to our bass with me playing Contrabassoon, Chris Alfano playing bass clarinet and Michel Szczesniak joining us on the piano. Come get Low!

Sunday, May 20 from 2-5 join Chris and I for a special celebration at 476 Victoria Street. After much thought and a couple of (pleasant) occurrences, Chris has decided to announce his retirement from LaSalle at the end of June 2018. While he will definitely miss the band and strings programs, he has some new opportunities to teach and learn and is looking forward to pursuing them further. Hope to see you all on the 20th!
