Kingston Baroque Consort

Welcome to the inaugural season of Kingston’s new orchestra devoted wholly to Historically Informed practice of music from the Baroque era! We will be performing 4 in-person concerts in the 2021-2022 season as health regulations allow at our lovely ‘home’, St. James’ Anglican Church, 10 Union Street.

Our first concert “A Journey in Time, String Music of the Italian Baroque”  will be Friday, October 15 at 5:15pm. Missing travel? This concert takes you on a musical voyage through Italy starting in the year 1615 with “La Pelegrina” by Tarquinio Merula and finishing up in the early 1700’s with Giuseppe Brivio’s Sinfonia in G major.

Admission is $20 or a subscription to all 4 concerts for $60 – Please reserve your ticket by emailing Katie Legere at legerek@queensu.ca or calling 613-217-5099

Dates for our next 3 concerts are: Friday November 26, Friday, March 11 (2022) and Friday, April 1st, (2022)
