Upcoming production: Folk in Baroque: Music and Tales from the British Isles

Join us for Kingston Baroque Consort’s second show of our 2022-2023 Season which features the winds of the group playing lively and sweet tunes from the British Isles.

Come out and enjoy everything from rollicking country tales and song to hair-raising witches’ calls and dance. Special Guest: Elizabeth Taylor as narrator

Concert time is 5:15pm, Friday November 18, at St. James’ Anglican Church, 10 Union Street.

The KBC is Kingston’s newest orchestra devoted wholly to Historically Informed practice of music from the Baroque era. Founded by Katie Legere, Jeff Hamacher, Julia McFarlane, and Michael Capon, the KBC is a collective of professional musicians drawn from the Kingston Symphony Orchestra and the wider community.
